About the venue – the Grote Kerk
Another great thing about the IamExpat Fair is its striking venue, the Grote Kerk. Attendees can easily reach the IamExpat Fair at the Grote Kerk on foot, by bike, by car or by public transportation, thanks to its convenient location in the historic heart of The Hague. Along with the famous Binnenhof, this historic building is one of the oldest in the whole city. Its colossal size, impressive high-vaulted ceilings and beautiful stained-glass windows make it one of the neighbourhood’s most notable landmarks.
The Grote Kerk is regularly in use for important events such as exhibitions, fairs, concerts and, of course, church services. Not only that, but it’s a place where history is made! Weddings and baptisms of the Dutch royal family continue to take place here every year. The Grote Kerk has been home to the IamExpat Fair The Hague since 2016.
