From 16 to 20 November 2026, The Hague Justice Week brings together people from around the world to explore how international law, diplomacy and cooperation can help address today’s global challenges and contribute to a more peaceful and just future.
This year’s theme, “80 Years and Beyond: Renewing the Promise of Peace and Justice through Law,” marks the 80th anniversary of the International Court of Justice. It provides an opportunity to reflect on eight decades of progress while looking ahead to the role that international institutions, governments and civil society can play in tackling the challenges of the future.
More than 50 organisations from 17 countries are already involved, including UN agencies, government bodies, NGOs, universities and legal networks. Events will take place in person, online and in hybrid formats, across The Hague, at partner locations throughout the Netherlands and internationally.
Whether you are an international professional, a student or simply interested in global affairs, The Hague Justice Week offers an accessible and inspiring way to engage with the ideas, institutions and people working to advance peace and justice worldwide.
The programme features discussions, exhibitions, networking opportunities and interactive events with experts from international organisations, academia, government and civil society. Participants will have the opportunity to gain new perspectives, exchange ideas and connect with others who share an interest in shaping a better future.
