Are you new to The Hague and eager to meet fellow newcomers? On 8 June, The Hague International Centre invites internationals to an inspiring and informative Welcome to The Hague evening, designed to help you settle in, make connections and discover your new home.

The event begins at the Central Library, where you will be introduced to the rich history of The Hague and gain insights into Dutch culture and everyday habits. Afterward, we will take you on a guided walk through the historic city centre, ending the evening with drinks and snacks at Haagse Hop on Bierkade.

Throughout the evening, you will have the chance to learn more about:

•  Settling into life in The Hague, with practical tips for a smooth transition

•  The city’s vibrant history and unique international character

•  Dutch cultural norms, both in daily life and in the workplace

•  The local cultural scene, including museums, events, and activities

•  Building your network and meeting fellow residents Snacks and drinks are complimentary. We look forward to welcoming you and helping you begin your journey in The Hague.
