Charley Toorop: Love for Van Gogh in Kröller-Müller Museum

In its first exhibition on Toorop’s admiration for Van Gogh, the Kröller-Müller Museum in the National Park Hoge Veluwe brings together sixty works that reveal her artistic journey. Van Gogh’s influence was palpable in Toorop’s work from the early 1920s. Using rarely shown paintings and personal archives, the exhibition sheds new light on one of the Netherlands’ most idiosyncratic artists.
