The IamExpat Fair returns to The Hague this autumn
After a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, the IamExpat Fair will finally take place once again at the iconic Grote Kerk on October 1, 2022. Featuring more exhibitor stands than ever before, this year’s autumn fair will be the biggest we have ever hosted in The Hague.
A vibrant meeting point of local businesses, service providers and thousands of expats from all over the world, this IamExpat Fair is a remarkable opportunity for internationals in the Netherlands to find everything they need all under one roof, on one day.

At this free, one-day event, visitors can browse stands dedicated to all aspects of expat life, from career, housing and education to family, health and leisure. For those eager to make the most of the day, we also offer a series of workshops presented by experts in their fields – which visitors can attend for free.

Attend a free workshop
Workshops and presentations on a broad range of topics, from Dutch language to mortgages, will be running all day at the IamExpat Fair. Admission is completely free, but registration is required for each workshop. The full workshop programme will be announced at the end of August.

About the venue
Visitors can easily reach the IamExpat Fair on foot, by bike, by car or by public transportation, thanks to its convenient location in the historic city centre. The venue is the spacious Grote Kerk in the heart of The Hague. Along with the famous Binnenhof, this historic building is one of the oldest in the whole city. Its immense size, impressive high-vaulted ceilings and beautiful stained-glass windows make it one of the neighbourhood’s most significant landmarks.
The Grote Kerk is often used for events such as exhibitions, fairs, concerts, and, of course, church services. Not only that, but weddings and baptisms of the Dutch royal family continue to take place here every year. So, what better place for the leading expat fair? The Grote Kerk has been home to the IamExpat Fair The Hague since Saturday, November 5, 2016.
