Bar Fisk brings the ever-lively, no-strings attached hospitality of Tel Aviv to Amsterdam

Located in “De Pijp” next to Albert cuyp market, Bar Fisk and It’s owners Irit Lior and Oren Aharoni (Part of TLV Group) bring some of the flavors and atmosphere of Tel Aviv to Amsterdam. Once you come in you can immediately see the big food bar and open kitchen, the bar is spread from the entrance all the way to the kitchen and is made especially wide to eat and drink and enjoy seeing food and drinks being prepared for you. At Bar Fisk you can find modern Israeli food created by Oren Aharoni.

The Menu is based mainly on fish and seafood but you can find also meat and vegetarian options. Flavors are Mediterranean influenced and served in an innovative and original way, mixing ethnic roots and modern cooking. Food is meant for sharing and is served in medium portions to enjoy as much as you can from different dishes. (allowing people to enjoy a variety of plates from the menu) The drinks menu is extensive and includes signature cocktails, gin & tonics and quality wines sourced from all over the world. The interior design is cosy and hip, with a combination of low and high tables to meet all preferences of a night out or an early quite dinner.

On summer days you can find the terrace full of locals and tourists enjoying a cocktail and some tasty dishes. The kitchen is open till late and the music goes up a bit to set the mood for a party. The music becomes louder throughout the evening setting a vibrant party atmosphere. On weekends Bar Fisk serves an Israeli Brunch based on generously satisfying Jerusalem freshly baked bagels for both vegetarians and meat lovers. Bar Fisk likes to end the week by serving a “Borrel Menu”, similar to traditional Dutch afternoon snacks. Guaranteed on the menu are oysters on special price and a carefully selected signature dishes.
