Bright Day, the main tech festival in the Netherlands, today announced the first names on its programme. Fortnite gamer Royalistiq and Canadian YouTube star The Hacksmith can be seen live in action, world famous game super model Stefanie Joosten makes her appearance and the latest gadgets will be shown, including the Samsung Galaxy Fold and the world’s first drone taxi by Huawei. The 9th edition of the popular tech event takes place during the weekend of 23-24 November at the Expo Haarlemmermeer. Ticket are available via www.brightday.nl.
Bright Day is the annual techfest of Bright, the main tech platform of the Netherlands. In addition to its website with tests, tips and trends, Bright can also be seen on RTL Z and RTL 7 with tv shows “Best of Bright” and “Bright TV Shorts”. Bright is full of innovation and always looking for ingenuity in digital technology, game changers and eye openers. Six areas can be found at the tech event: Mobile First, Health & Robotics, Gaming, Bright Kids, Future Mobility and Smart Home. The program within these areas shows the highlights of the “bright side of tech”, the theme of Bright Day.
The positive side of tech is clearly felt at the Bright Day tech festival. Five headliners are:
James Hobson aka The Hacksmith is a growing YouTube star with 6.4 million followers. He recreates items from Marvel films and series and tests them on his YouTube channel. He will take several items to Bright Day and tests them live. It is the first time that The Hacksmith can be seen live in the Netherlands.
Roy is the number 1 Fortnite player in the Netherlands and publishes videos on YouTube in which he is gaming under the name Royalistiq. Last year he was also present at the tech festival, but this year he will get an even bigger stage. At the event you can see Royalistiq live in action and visitors can play Fortnite with him.
In 2015, Stefanie Joosten was offered a role in one of the greatest games of all time: Metal Gear Solid 5. This made her world famous as a game super model. In Japan she is recognized everywhere on the streets, but at Bright Day she will tell us all about what it is like to play a leading role in a game.
Samsung Galaxy Fold
The Samsung Galaxy Fold is a so-called folding phone and is the first of the next generation of smartphones. Visitors can experience the device (and many other new smartphones) themselves at Bright Day in the Mobile First area.
Huawei Drone Taxi
Huawei’s E-Hang is the world’s first drone which can carry people. It made its first test flight in Europe in 2018 at the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Take a closer look at this taxi of the future at Bright Day.
